The economy of the CHristian Faith or Jezus was rational (made a cost benefit analysis) when He took upon the cross.

This Dutch article is about a professor in economics from Tilburg who is aswell a prominent CDA member (the biggest christian political party in the Netherlands). He has written a book on the ‘Economy of the Christian Faith’. What I liked about the article is that the professor thinks Jezus was rational when he took upon the cross. I quote (own translated to English): According to Lans Bovenberg there is nothing wrong with people chasing their own self interested. Jezus even did it himself when he took upon the cross. “It was a high price but the benefits outweight the costs. Jezus was a true economist.” ‘ (see the first paragraph of the article)
